Great place the lady’s are so down to earth not stuck up at all ask for Jamie or Michelle. Will definitely be back. As for calling and making a appointment please be patient it takes longer then you would expect to take a person’s call they make sure you know what you are getting and any details you want to know.

Nice experience. Arranged a couple mineral bath & massage with our stay at The Country Inn. We enjoyed both and would do it again.

My daughter and I stayed at The Country Inn of Berkeley Springs and booked all of our spa treatments at the Renaissance. The spa was wonderful! The staff were friendly and very attentive. It was very clean and we didn’t feel rushed. My daughter and I started with mineral baths, followed by a Revitalizing Facial. Our tubs overlooked the landscaping; the view was beautiful and very relaxing. Michele and Janie gave us ou facials. They were excellent! We will go back again!

We got a couples massage and I agree with the other reviews. It was very uncomfortable to walk through the hotel and down the elevator to get our couples massage. Not only that, we went on a weekend that it was very frigid and to walk outside even for 10 seconds, was painful.

My massage with Art was horrible. I was asked how I like my massage and I told him to please use force. There was no force. All he did was take both his hands and shake my body back and forth. I had huge knots in my back and neck and was looking forward to getting them out and when I left I still had them. I think the whirlpool did a better job at giving me a massage then he did.

At least my better half’s massage was awesome. He had Linda and said she got him to relax so much that he fell asleep. She worked all the muscles that were super tight on him.

At least 1 of 2 got their money’s worth.

My husband and I visited The Country Inn over Presidents’ Day weekend. We had made advance reservations for a couples massage and whirlpool tub soak. While the staff are very nice, the Spa area is very outdated and needs upgrades (as does the hotel). The massages were very nice and the whirlpool tub was nothing special, but relaxing before the massage. During the massage the CD player in the room kept skipping and was a bit distracting. We did leave very relaxed and enjoyed our massages.

I am not a “spa” woman. I’ve never spent three hours in a spa until today. However, if I could repeat today’s experience, I may become a fan! My first option was to soak in the whirlpool. It was lovely with a nice view. I think next time I’d ask to soak for five minutes and then have the jets turned on, but that is a personal preference. The water temperature was perfect. I had a few minutes between the whirlpool and my massage, and I did think they should have had a separate space for that time. There are chairs outside the treatment rooms, but it didn’t feel “special”.

It was then time for my massage. Eric was a great masseuse.First he sat and chatted with me about what he would be doing, if I had any injuries or health issues, etc. He was low-key and respectful. And then he worked his magic.

My final choice was to have a pedicure. There was nothing wrong with the pedicure, but in retrospect, I should’ve passed on that or scheduled it for the next morning. After a whirlpool and a massage, I just wanted to sleep. It felt like work to sit through the pedicure. When she finished, she asked me if I wanted to sit in the “serenity room” which I declined, but the “serenity room” is what I would’ve liked between the whirlpool and the massage.

Would have been a five star review had that sitting time between a whirlpool and massage had been in another serenity room!

Once I got to my room (I stayed at the Country Inn), I passed out for 45 minutes. Woke up feeling fabulous!

My wife and I checked into Berkeley Springs Country Inn and renaissance Spa. We had a whirlpool spa tub, with springs mineral water, I am a fan, wife not so much. I had an 80 minute hot stone massage, Ann did a great job. I have had many massages and this one was one of the most enjoyable. My wife had a facial and body scrub, she was very happy with her service. The facility is quite nice and is under new management within the last couple months.
